Wall Tiles That Finish a Room

Textured ceramic wall tiles in sage and stone tones in a Pakistani home

Good wall tiles in Pakistan do more than cover plaster — they decide how light moves around a room and how easy the space is to keep clean. Our wall tile collection covers glossy ceramics that brighten small bathrooms, textured stone-effect pieces for feature walls, and practical satin finishes for kitchens that wipe down quickly after cooking.

Wall tiles are lighter than floor tiles and are not made to be walked on, so each design here is listed for wall use with its size and finish clearly shown. Mix a patterned design on one wall with a plain companion tile on the others for a balanced, designed look.

Buying Guide: Wall Tiles

Measure wall height carefully — most Pakistani homes have 10 to 11 foot ceilings, and a feature wall is often tiled only up to 7 or 8 feet with paint above. For kitchens, tile the full splashback zone behind the stove and sink. Glossy finishes reflect light and suit small rooms; matte and textured finishes hide water marks better in bathrooms.

Wall Tiles — FAQs

Can wall tiles be used on the floor as well?
No. Wall tiles have a softer body and glaze made for vertical surfaces, and they can crack or wear quickly under foot traffic. Always choose a floor-rated tile for floors, and use wall tiles only on walls.
How high should bathroom wall tiles go?
Inside shower areas, tile to the ceiling or at least above shower height so water never reaches paint. For the rest of the bathroom, tiling to about 7 feet with paint above is common and economical in Pakistan.
Do glossy wall tiles need special cleaning?
Glossy ceramic wall tiles clean easily with a soft cloth and mild cleaner. Avoid abrasive powders on the glaze, and wipe kitchen splashbacks regularly so cooking oil does not build up in the grout lines.
